In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top navigation and maps applications in the United Arab Emirates showed varied trends across downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at each app's performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps Go from Google LLC saw an upward trend in weekly downloads, peaking at around 30.8K in mid-August. Active users remained robust, fluctuating around 4.3M to 4.5M throughout the quarter. Revenue showed a modest increase, reaching a peak of $9 in late August.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a steady rise in weekly downloads, culminating at approximately 30.9K by the end of September. Active users saw significant growth from 747.9K to 929.6K, highlighting its increasing popularity in the region.

2GIS: Offline map & navigation displayed stable download numbers, with a notable increase to 10K in the last week of September. Active users decreased slightly over the quarter, with numbers ranging from 170.2K to 145K.

Google Earth maintained a steady download rate, with a peak of 9.2K in the final week. Active user numbers showed a positive trend, increasing from 58.6K to 66.7K over the period.
